The Elizabeth, Collaborative Office Space Joins Historic Buckeye Building

Sela Vie Creative, Modern Brand and Website Design Studio Serving Bold Entrepreneurs Nationwide

Sela Vie Creative says hello to the Magic City! Owner, Anna Cate Berman has opened, The Elizabeth, which is a collaborative office space located in the historic Morris Avenue district. It will occupy a space inside of the Old Buckeye Building, located at 2335 Morris Avenue, Suite 2, Birmingham, AL 35203.

Sela Vie provides engaging and effective branding, messaging, and website design that scales ambitious founders of lifestyle brands to industry front-runner status. It offers agency-level talent and capacity balanced with freelance-type person-to-person connection, complete with clear communication and efficient deadlines—AKA, reliable quality + ROI, and no downside.

Anna Cate Berman was drawn to this space immediately after she encountered the historic feel and openness of its environment. The growth and development happening right now on Morris Avenue are two of the prime reasons why she chose this location. The rich history provides a beautiful backdrop for all the emerging new businesses.

“I am a brand and website designer, so I work at a computer all day. Over the years, I’ve realized that an aesthetically beautiful working environment helps me stay looking up and around my screen and becoming creatively inspired; the better I invest in my space, the better-quality work I do! My dream was an office that felt like an extension of my home,” said Berman.

She continued, “I love having my own space through which I can extend support and hospitality especially to fellow female entrepreneurs. I’m also proud of its design; it inspires my creativity every morning that I walk through the door.”

The Elizabeth (which is lovingly named after many women in Anna Cate’s family) is a collaborative office space. Five separate business owners have private offices here, and it also has a few coworkers who operate from their community-style front room. “The space has already hosted collaborative events for business owners and clients, and we aspire toward a dream of becoming a hub for creativity and entrepreneurship!” said Berman.

What was your experience working with IronVest Partners?

“I was touring a different space on Morris Avenue when I happened to run into Kyle Crew, and he offered to show me this space! He was kind, helpful, and made the whole process of making it mine so easy. I’m so grateful to him and to IronVest for the leasing opportunity!”

Kyle W. Crew of IronVest Partners completed this lease transaction of retail space for the Design Studio. He represented both the tenant and landlord during this transaction.
