Robert Crook, CCIM

As Founder of Ironvest Partners, Robert has built IVP on three key principles: teamwork, the golden rule, and long-term partnerships. He truly has a passion for real estate and to coin a phrase, “He tap dances to work every day.” You can call Robert a “real estate nerd” and he will take that as a compliment. For years Robert has been a top transactional broker, but increasingly he is dedicating more time to leading and managing the IVP team. In his spare time Robert enjoys putting together investment partnerships and to date has put together more than a dozen.  

Robert was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and is a fourth-generation commercial real estate broker in the Birmingham area. Robert specializes in closing deals in Birmingham’s urban core as well as industrial sales throughout the state of Alabama. 

Education

Robert received both a Finance and Entrepreneurship degree from Auburn University. 

Industry Recognition

Robert was awarded “Rookie of the Year” by the Birmingham Commercial Real Estate Council in 2013 and has received the million-dollar sales club distinction each year thereafter. In 2014 Robert completed his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Shortly after in 2017, he received 2nd place for Top Producer Sales and Leasing by the Birmingham Realtors Council, where he continues to qualify as a life member. In 2017, he obtained his Broker’s license. In 2020, he was elected board member of the local NAIOP Chapter.

Community Involvement

Robert serves his community as a board member of M-Power Ministries, a non-profit that helps members of our community break the cycle of poverty. He and his wife, Anna Crook, attend Redeemer Community Church in Avondale and enjoy leading a home group bible study. Outside of work, Robert enjoys roughhousing with his two young boys, playing golf, mentoring young men, and traveling.
