Golden Flake facility trades hands for $6M, multimillion-dollar project planned

The former Golden Flake manufacturer is now under new ownership! The 283,310 square-foot warehouse building, along with 36.7 acres of land, has been sold for $6,000,000.

IronVest Partners has served as the landlord of Southeastern Salvage’s Irondale store for the past 20 years. As Southeastern Salvage embarked on a search for a larger location, this property came to their attention.

“We are excited about the opportunity to revitalize and occupy a building that has played such a big role in Birmingham and Alabama’s history,” said Scott Leroy, Vice President of Southeastern Salvage Company.

The Factory at Golden Flake provides both retail and warehouse uses. There is roughly 145,310 square feet of warehouse/retail space and land available for lease and/or sale, which will be handled by Robert Crook and Bart Moore of IronVest Partners.
