LCJ Enterprise LLC purchased a 6,111 square-foot retail space with 1.2 acres at 3340 Galleria Circle in Hoover, Alabama, from Beegle Investments on May 15. The restaurant sold for $1,525,000.
The former property of a Hoover sports bar and restaurant has been acquired by a Georgia-based firm, making way for a new Korean barbecue restaurant to come in.
The property is located at 3340 Galleria Circle and formerly housed On Tap Sports Cafe.
According to Jefferson County public records, Beegle Investment LLC sold the property to LCJ Enterprise LLC for $1.53 million. Records from real estate data firm Reonomy show the deal closed on May 16.
Beegle Investment LLC has a local residential address listed and is registered to the owners of On Tap Sports Cafe.
LCJ Enterprise LLC is registered to an address listed at 7929 72 W. in Madison that it shares with a restaurant called Stone Age Korean BBQ II, indicating some affiliation.
The owners of Huntsville-based Stone Age Korean BBQ plan told the BBJ they plan to open a Stone Age Korean BBQ & Hot Pot at the former On Tap property this fall. Buildout for the new restaurant is currently underway with an opening date slated to come around Thanksgiving.

On Tap Sports Cafe closed its Hoover located in fall 2022 following having a 14-year presence in the area near the Galleria mall. The restaurant chain has three other locations in metro Birmingham including locations at Liberty Park in Vestavia Hills, Inverness Corners on Highway 280 and Main Street in Fultondale.
Recently the only city in Alabama to rank as one of the top small to mid-sized cities to live, Hoover has had several restaurants move into the area in recent months including a Thai restaurant and a to-go only Zaxby’s.
