Intermark Building Welcomes New Tenant! 🔥 Blackbox Logistics, Expands to Downtown Birmingham.

Founders William Graves, Logan Dyer, and Will Hopkins established Blackbox Logistics, a third-party logistics provider specializing in over-the-road freight and collaborating with companies nationwide. The company will occupy 14,409 square-feet of office space inside the Intermark Building at 101 25th Street North, Birmingham, AL 35203.

Blackbox provides its clients with seamless, stress-free logistics solutions for shipments of any shape, size, origin, or destination. Whether it be a single skid or a 200,000 pound piece of equipment, they possess the skill set, resources, and know-how to get freight where it needs to go, when it needs to be there.

“We are committed to providing seamless transportation solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations,” William Graves.

He continued, “Our journey began in 2017 when we worked together at another firm in town. My partners and I quickly realized that we loved the work and the industry, so starting our own business seemed like the next logical step. We wanted to share our knowledge, passion, and opportunities with others, and that has been the most rewarding part of the last four years. There is nothing like the excitement of seeing someone new to the industry connect the dots and understand how everything fits together. We are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team, and we hope to continue growing in the coming year.”

For the past six months, the company’s growth has been constrained by their current space. This move will allow them to get back on track and continue expanding.

William was attracted to this space because of the building’s beauty, its excellent location, and the floorplan that perfectly suited the company’s needs. “Kyle Crew, of IronVest Partners, showed us the space and we immediately fell in love with it. Logistics is an extraordinarily dynamic environment – details change at the drop of a hat, we value an open floor plan because those changes can be relayed person-to-person in real time,” said Graves.

The space will remain office space. “We’ve run out of room at our current office and desperately need some breathing room. Blackbox currently employs about 40 people and with this new lease we hope to double that number over the next few years,” said Graves.

“Blackbox Logistics was a pleasure to work with on finding a new office headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. Growing from a one-room home office to a Class-A 14,500 square foot office in a matter of 4 years is nothing short of remarkable. I can’t wait to see this group grow even more in the years to come!” — Kyle W. Crew

Your experience working with IronVest Partners?

“We are personally grateful to Kyle and IronVest for helping us find our next space. When we first met Kyle, I promised him we were ‘easy clients’ –  I know I broke that promise (sorry Kyle). He was patient and did an excellent job walking us through different options, helping us understand the market, and facilitating the conversation with the owner, construction company, and everyone else involved.”

Kyle W. Crew of IronVest Partners completed this lease transaction of office space for the logistics company. He represented the tenant during this transaction.
